Music Education Resources
Our music education resources are linked to the Model Music Curriculum. Supported by demonstration videos, they are available free of charge to teachers and others to help them support children to develop key music skills.
KS1 and KS2 Resources
Our music education resources enable teachers and others to help children in Key Stages 1 and 2 acquire a strong foundation of musical skills.
We have selected warm ups and songs based on Kodaly principles that are especially suitable for supporting children’s early musical development. Each comes with a number of suggested activities and a demonstration video of it being sung by our choristers.
For six songs from the Model Music Curriculum, our resources also provide notes for teachers to help them support children to explore and understand the music they are listening to.
We offer free singing workshops, based on our education resources, to schools and community groups in Sheffield.
