Our Shop

We are delighted to have our very own Christmas Card for sale to help raise funds for the choir.

Support us this Christmas

Our very own new Christmas card features a beautiful watercolour painting by local artist Brian Smith of Steel City Choristers carol singing outside the Sheffield Winter Garden on a snowy winter’s day.

Packs of six cards are available for £10 in aid of the choir.

Orders can be collected from us in Sheffield, or posted to you second class for a small additional charge. We recommend placing orders required before Christmas by 15 December.

On the back of the card there is information about Steel City Choristers, with a QR Code to find out more, follow us on social media or donate to the choir.

The greeting inside the card reads “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!”.

About the Winter Garden

The soaring arches of the Sheffield Winter Garden were the inspiration for Steel City Choristers’ logo.

The Winter Garden is in the heart of Sheffield city centre. Officially opened by Her Majesty the Queen on 22 May 2003, it is one of the largest temperate glasshouses to be built in the UK in the last hundred years and contains over 2,000 plants from around the world. The building itself is 70 metres long and its glued laminated larch arches are 22 metres high.

The steel balls outside the Winter Garden flow over with water for most of the year and are a lovely addition to the street scene.
