The Steel City Choristers Shop
We are delighted to have our very own Christmas cards and A4 prints for sale.
Christmas Cards and Prints
We have teamed up with local artist Brian Smith to produce our very own Steel City Choristers Christmas cards and prints!
We now have two beautiful watercolour paintings for us carol singing in snowy winter scenes, outside the Lyceum Theatre and outside the Sheffield Winter Garden. Both cards are available as Christmas cards and a high quality print. The greeting inside the card reads “Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!”. On the back of the cards there is information about Steel City Choristers, with a QR Code to find out more, follow us on social media or donate to the choir.
Packs of six cards are available for £10 and A4 prints (unmounted and unframed) for £20 in aid of our mission to inspire children to sing and serve communities with high quality choral music. Orders can be collected from us in Sheffield, or posted to you second class for a small additional charge. We recommend placing orders required before Christmas by 15 December.
About the Lyceum Theatre
The Lyceum Theatre in Sheffield was the venue for our 150th Performance in June 2025 at the Night at the Musicals in aid of the youth homeless charity, Roundabout.
The Lyceum Theatre is is a historic Grade II listed venue, opened in 1897 and restored in 1990. It is part of the Sheffield Theatres complex, the largest regional theatre complex outside London. It is a gleaming traditional proscenium arch theatre that hosts the best of the UK’s touring shows.
About the Winter Garden
The soaring arches of the Sheffield Winter Garden were the inspiration for Steel City Choristers’ logo.
The Winter Garden is in the heart of Sheffield city centre. Officially opened by Her Majesty the Queen on 22 May 2003, it is one of the largest temperate glasshouses to be built in the UK in the last hundred years and contains over 2,000 plants from around the world. The building itself is 70 metres long and its glued laminated larch arches are 22 metres high.
The steel balls outside the Winter Garden flow over with water for most of the year and are a lovely addition to the street scene.
About the artist
We are grateful to local watercolour artist, Brian Smith, for his generous support painting us the picture for this card.
